Celtic have finally been crowned champions of Scotland for a ninth consecutive time after league officials and clubs decided to finish the league on a points per game method.

The Hoops were 13 points clear at the top of the table, having played a game more than second-placed Rangers when the season was initially postponed back in March and as such, they’ve been crowned as the champions for a ninth successive campaign.

There had been hopes that our Scottish game could be resumed sometime in June, but ultimately this decision was best for all concerned as clubs need their prize money to survive over the coming months.
