Celtic have made huge investments into the woman’s team as they have appointed former English Premier League assistant manager as their new head coach.

Fran Alonso will be the man in charge of the Ghirls as they are set to start the new season as full-time players, woman’s football has grown a great deal over the years and now people really do want to support their woman’s team on a professional level.

Alonso has worked under some fantastic managers including both Ronald Koeman and Mauricio Pochettino in his career.
