Celtic ramp up in their efforts to sign Polish hitman Patryk Klimala as the media in Poland confirm the Scottish champions have returned and are seriously interested in making an offer.
Celtic have been linked with many strikers during this nervous January transfer window and they aren’t letting on who’s their top targets, but maybe the Hoops are speaking with multiple strikers as Lennon could be hoping for a striking double swoop, it looks like Bayo and Griffiths could possibly be loaned out for fitness issues and Celtic are severely lacking in that area with only Edouard as our main force.
Klimala plays in the Polish League for Jagiellonia and has scored a decent seven goals in seventeen games so far this season, Lennon has a great track record at bringing in players and developing them into Celtic stars, players like VVD who’s now one of the best defenders in the world.
Tomasz Magdziarz (AGENT) said: “There are many rumors during transfer windows and it is difficult to respond to any of them.
“We don’t want publicity, particularly on this issue, but I can confirm we’re holding some talks on Patryk’s behalf.
“The window is still open for a long time, so many things could still happen. I think that during the next week we will know more.”
Celtic play a very high tempo style of football that would see Klimala or any striker get more chances at goal and we could easily see the Polish striker score a barrel load when he settles in.
