Celtic are in talks to sign highly rated PSG defender Moussa Sissako as the 19 year old defender wants to play regular football and also develop with the Scottish champions.

Neil Lennon is looking to add some defensive depth to the Hoops as Celtic only have Ajer and jullien holding the back-line together with injury prone Simunovic as backup.

PSG have also said that Sissako isn’t in the clubs long term plans and would be open for a future bid, this would suit Celtic as the club could insert a future fee into the loan deal.

Many Celtic fans might complain about signing an untested youth player but Celtic’s top striker Odsonne Edouard was part of a similar deal which saw the Bhoys pay a club record fee for.

These are the type of players Celtic should be looking out for and taking a chance on as sometimes they unearth gems, Lennon has a proven track record of signing unproven stars, the Hoops gaffer signed many fantastic players in his first stint as manager, players such as VVD and Wanyama who went on to make a name for themselves in England.
