Celtic booked their place in the fifth round of the Scottish cup after defeating Partick Thistle 2-1, but the decisions by the referee could have cost the Hoops the game.

Yet again the referee makes a few bad decisions in a Celtic match that could have had an impact in the final result, luckily the Bhoys had the game under control and managed to get the win.

Celtic

Jeremie Frimpong had a great game, the right back was fantastic at the attacking runs on goal and in this instance he was clearly nudged off the ball so much so you can see it directly brings him down, many referees would give this as a penalty, its a soft one but compare it to Thistle’s one near the end of the match and it must be given.

Frimpong yet again doing everything a player should and tracking back to stop his team conceding is penalized and a penalty is given, the Celtic player never touched Zanatta as the Thistle player actually is the one who clashed with Frimpong.

Neil Lennon and his Celtic squad got the win and must move on and prepare for their first league game of 2020, new tactics were used tonight and we saw the return of super Griffiths, with the Scotsman bagging his first goal in around 5 months.

Klimala

We also got to see a glimpse of new Bhoy Patryk Klimala who came on as a substitute, this is great news as it means the Hoops will go into the final half of the season with 3 strong strikers and have the option of playing 2 at once.
