Celtic’s Form Is On The Rise, Rodgers Has Worked His Magic.

It’s true Celtic have started of this season with a stutter, but all is not how it seems.

As Celtic have just come off a legendary two seasons winning the glorious double treble, many Celtic fans were worried at the shaky start. But it’s not as bad as it looked, Celtic just needed to find that form as they have lost key players without replacements.

It was clear in preseason that Brendan Rodgers had planned to partner Dembele with Edouard, and for the first few games it worked and both players were beginning to form a fine partnership. Also Celtic looked fit and sharp, the team had gelled and knew exactly how to link up with each other.

But at the last minute Dembele forced Celtic’s hand and wanted to leave, don’t get me wrong it was well worth the money they got in return, but it meant the team had to be tweaked and so did the tactics.

The board never backed Rodgers and all he got were last minute signings that was purely to appease the fans.

Nevertheless, Brendan and the team carried on and tried to come up with a back-up plan, as both Edouard and Griffiths struggled to keep at full fitness the team had difficulties keeping good form and struggled to score, a few bad results set us back and not getting into the Champions League the morale was low.

But the gaffer kept his head and continued to hatch out a plan even though all forms of media were trying to sabotage him and his squad with rumours and bad publicity.

So our so called bad run isn’t that bad, for a team that had both forwards who struggled to stay fit we have scored 17 goals, we have only conceded 6 goals and kept 5 clean sheets.

Celtic currently sit 2nd in the league only 3 points behind Hearts who definitely will drop points and Celtic are starting to gain confidence and are scoring goals.
