‘Shocking’, ‘Amateurish’ – Celtic fans were left fuming by latest SFA mess today | Vital Celtic

Celtic fans weren’t best pleased watching today’s Scottish Premiership clash between Hamilton Accies and Rangers, after referee Andrew Dallas awarded two penalties to the away side in the final ten minutes of the match.

With Steven Gerrard’s side toiling at 1-1 in the 80th minute, two soft penalties followed, allowing James Tavernier to bang in penalties that handed the Ibrox side three points.

It was a victory that they desperately needed having not won away in the league so far this season and it appears the SFA’s man has handed them a get-out-of-jail-free card.

A draw would have put serious pressure on Gerrard and raised further questions about his ability to produce performances away from Ibrox in domestic action.

Thankfully it appears that Celtic are again motoring and ready to push forward in the league. Hopefully though dodgy decisions don’t continue to have a big say on how points are decided over the coming months.

Hoops fans were left fuming at Dallas and took to Twitter to share their thoughts…

  1. Did you know sevco have had 7 penalties in 9 games. Coincidence!!! Don’t think so.
But then we’ve had to put up with this shit for years. Celtic still won the league.
So come on the celtic players let’s step up a few gears and show them what it’s like to be a top team. They won’t be able to handle it.

    1. Agree with you totally Fred but let’s be honest here. The second penalty was a stonewaller due to the big centre back getting too close to More or less and clipping his heels. The first one was maybe doubtful but we’d have been screaming for it also if it was 1-1 with ten minutes to go. Don’t see what the fuss is all about.
Gutted that Hamilton conceded three in the last ten. They should have seen the game out at 1-1.

  2. Look no further than the parents. Wee Andrew is doing daddies dirty deeds. The patsy will help daddy reek revenge in Celtic from his sofa. Time to rid the system in Scotland of the bias that surrounds the men in black, and the way to do that is to sack the lot of them!
