FORMER CELTIC DEFENDER ADVISES 26 YEAR OLD CELTIC PLAYER TO RUN DOWN HIS CONTRACT

Scott Allan has been advised by former manager Alan Stubbs to see out his contract with Celtic and leave the Glasgow champions.

Alan Stubbs was the man who took Scott Allan to Hibernian and also advised the player to move to Celtic.

The 26 year old did not really get much game time under Delia or Rodgers.

With only managing to gain 17 appearances and a total of 516 minutes in all competitions for Celtic, its fair to say he needs to leave for the good of his own career.

Allan only has 6 months left on his contract and Alan Stubbs believes he must act fast and find a club, even if it is just a loan deal to get him on track.
