Celtic keeping tabs on Swansea defender Connor Roberts as the Glasgow Champions feel Mikael Lustig needs some position competition.
Mikael Lustig has been a fine servant for Celtic since joining back in 2011, but the Swedish World Cup star needs some back up at right back and Brendan Rodgers needs to bolster his defensive options.
Roberts has been making a name for himself at Swansea and becoming a regular at Wales as he has won his 7th cap.
Rodgers and his scouting team have been watching Robert’s impressive performances recently and are thought to be ready to make the youngster an offer as he will soon be out of contract.
Roberts has featured in 21 fixtures for club and country already this season, finding the back of the net on three occasions over the past two months.
Celtic are thought to be willing to bring in Roberts to rival current right-back Lustig, who has been with the club since 2011.
