Celtic captain and loved player Scott brown should sign a new contract to stay with the Glasgow champions in a matter of days.
The Celtic star has received a lot of interest from various clubs around the globe but the governing body of Australian football wants to make Brown apart of a new era in Australian football, similar to what MSL did many years ago.
Brown may be ageing and Celtic Seem to be getting on well without his presence but Scott Brown has a wealth of experience and knowledge of the game and Celtic simply must get his signature as soon as possible.
Its not just for his ability on the field its also what he can give back to the club off the field also as reports suggest Brown is interested in becoming backroom staff one day and maybe following in the footsteps of Neil Lennon.
Now 33 years of age, he’s made an incredible 493 appearances for the club and won a shed load of trophies, many of which have come as captain. He’s arguably the club’s best skipper since Billy McNeill.
More should come of this story this week and lets all hope Skipper signs.
