Celtic Must Bounce Back After Lacklustre Performance Against Valencia.

Last night Celtic hosted Valencia of Spain at Celtic Park, and needless to say it was a lacklustre performance from the Hoops.

Brendan’s bhoys started off really well in the first ten minutes or so then it all started to fall apart, the passing was at school boy standards at times and as usual in Europe our poor defence let us down again.

Apart from Izaguirre playing left back instead of Hayes, we got the team that most fans wanted Celtic to put out.

What was most frustrating was that Brendan’s tactics do not change no matter what opposition we play, sometimes it’s best to just play the counter attack and pick your moments.

Valencia are not a small club and Celtic aren’t either but when your playing against teams that have £40 million players on the bench then you must reevaluate your tactics and try and slow them down and attack.

Nevertheless there is still a second tie to play in Spain, but our eighth title and a possible third treble must be our main objective this season.
