Neil Lennon could be given good news ahead of Celtic’s match against Hibernian this coming weekend as a certain duo could be set to play despite isolation worries.

There was a fear that both Mohamed Elyounoussi and Kris Ajer would miss Celtic’s important game at Easter Road this weekend.

Their country’s UEFA Nations League clash with Romania was cancelled after defender Omar Elabdellaoui tested positive for Covid-19.

The Norwegian FA has confirmed that both players have had no symptoms and have returned three negative tests, they place the decision in the SFA’s hands, Celtic are confident there will be no issues.

The Parkhead honchos understand the SFA and SPFL’s Joint Response Group will rule that the players are good to play, as confirmed by the media.

Celtic have already had issues with Odsonne Edouard, Ryan Christie, Nir Bitton and Hatem Elhamed because of the same thing and Neil Lennon cannot afford to lose more players.
