Andy Walker lashed out on live television when a plastic bottle was hurled at Celtic player Jota following his late victory in the Aberdeen-Celtic match.

Jota latched upon a brilliant feed from Adam Montgomery and tucked the ball in for a much-needed away victory.

While Celtic were jubilant, a bottle was hurled at the player, and in the aftermath, a vape pen was also found on the floor — luckily, no one was injured.

Walker, according to SunSport, was furious by the incident:

“We talk about fan behaviour.

“Look at this celebration from the Celtic players and you get that object there from that young individual, what age is he?

“And he is throwing a plastic bottle to these players. Absolutely outrageous.”

It’s something we don’t want to see, but again, there have been relatively few consequences for this type of fan behaviour throughout the years. At Ibrox, Scott Brown was accosted by a pitch invader, while Leigh Griffiths was thrown a big battery, and our regulatory body took no action.
