Celtic’s Jonny Hayes was on the pitch when Olivier Ntcham made history by scoring Celtic’s last minute winner against Lazio to give the Hoops their first ever win in Italy.
Hayes had no doubt that Ntcham was going to find the back of the net, despite a less than convincing first touch.
He explained why to the Celtic View, identifying a common trait than Ntcham and some of his other French team-mates at the club have.
“I’m sure if he’d taken a better touch he could still have slid it across the keeper, but it worked out perfectly in the end” Hayes said, as reported by the Celtic View (Volume 55, Issue 20, Page. 17).
