Hapoel Be’er Sheva manager Barak Bakhar has stated that he’s pleased to do a deal with a club like Celtic.
It’s the first-ever agreement Celtic have struck with Hapoel Be’er Sheva, even if it’s not the first time we’ve crossed paths with them.
Celtic knocked Be’er Sheva out of Champions League qualifying back in 2016. Outside of that, however, the two clubs have no history together.
And speaking in the Scottish Sun, Bakhar gave off the vibe that his club are honoured to be doing a deal with the Scottish champions.
“We are delighted for Hatem and are happy for our club because of the transfer fee.
“However, in terms of our squad, this is a massive loss and it will be very difficult to get along without him, but that’s football.”
