Celtic player Nir Bitton has heaped praise on his fellow squad members even after their hard fought draw with Livingston.
The versatile Israeli has stated that Celtic’s attitude was the reason that the Bhoys managed to snatch a late goal to clinch a vital point.
The Tony Macaroni arena this season has been a real test for Lennon‘s men as Gary Holt has got Livingston in a very good place.
“It was very tough. It’s not the best place to come and play. We knew before the game it was going to be a tough one and we had to match it. I think we created enough chances to win the game, but it wasn’t to be.
“We always believe in ourselves. We had to chase the game after giving away two goals, but we have guys on the bench who can change a game for you, and they did that.
Every away game is difficult, everyone wants to beat us and be the hero. We need to accept that, face it, match and go one better. We do that every week, and we need to keep going.”
Bitton has stressed that Celtic must get back on the winning track in Saturday’s match.
“We need to make sure we remain focused, we remain concentrated and we need to win as many games as we can.”
“I think we played some good football against Livingston. We didn’t win the game, but we did get the equaliser in stoppage time. During the game you only concentrate on yourself and your own game. We need to stick to our game-plan and we need to win as many games as we can.”
“When you play for a club like Celtic, you have to believe all the time. We’re always fighting for trophies and we have a winning mentality. We’re always on the front foot, and we’re always trying to win the game. It’s a special dressing room. Now, we focus on St Mirren at Celtic Park and we go again.”
