Bright Osayi-Samuel has been on Celtic’s radar for the past 6 months and former Rangers manager Mark Warburton insists that they are top contenders for his signature.

There were rumours in the media that Osayi-Samuel was set to sign for Fenerbahçe during the summer but Warburton states that may not be the case now as the winger attracts high interest from both Glasgow based clubs.

It seems Bright Osayi-Samuel hasn’t yet signed a deal with the Turkish giants and that Celtic still have a shot at landing him in this transfer window.

The Scottish Champions will be able to offer the 23-year-old a pre-contract deal and possibly sign him now on a reduced fee.

Warburton speaks with the media (Daily Mail):

“Apparently he’s going to Celtic and Fenerbahce and Rangers as well. I hope he’s got a good passport.

“It’s all rumours and it keeps the media going. My only concern is Bright working hard, training well and performing well.”

With around 20 games under his belt this season for QPR in the English Championship, Osayi-Samuel would be a good signing for Neil Lennon as we look to turn this year around.
