Celtic are rumoured to be actively seeking new additions in the January transfer market and one defender has popped up on their scouting radar.

There’s no doubt that Neil Lennon and Celtic will need to find some defensive targets soon if they are to have any hope of turning this awful season around.

The defense is one key area that must be looked at as Celtic’s key players could be the subject of incoming bids in January and at the end of this season.

Star players such as Kris Ajer and Chris Jullien have built a decent reputation in Scottish Football and clubs will eager to purchase them, this would mean that the Hoops will need to have replacements in mind and the scouting department could already have one for next month.

Aston Villa defender Kortney Hause has become a possible transfer target of the Scottish Champions and the 25-year-old could be available in a loan to buy deal similar to Shane Duffy.

The English centre-back is valued at around the £4.5 million mark as Aston Villa are preparing their own additions in the next transfer window.

The no-nonsense defender has made 3 appearances this season and also managed to bag a goal for Villa.

Whatever the price that Celtic would pay it could be a good investment for the club on and off the pitch but Celtic would have to act fast if they are to secure Kortney Hause.
