Jack Hendry could be close to securing a permanent move to Belgian side Oostende as the Celtic flop has been very impressive over the course of his loan spell.

Oostende are reportedly ready to activate their clause to purchase Hendry outright at an estimated £1.75 million.

This would be great news both Hendry and Celtic as the defender can stay with a club that he’s clearly improving at and the Hoops can pretty much get back what they paid for him back in the Brendan Rodgers era.

With 17 games under his belt in Belgian football, Hendry has been one of the better defenders in the full top league.

It’s good news for the player as he didn’t have a great time at Celtic since joining the club from Dundee back in 2018.

The Hoops fans just didn’t have any faith with the defenders shaky performances and Hendry was shipped out on loan, he’s now found his club and we wish him well in his future.
