Oliver Burke has re-emerged as a Celtic target for a second time as Lennon looks to bolster his squad for 10 in a row, this link really doesn’t make sense when you think back to when Burke was first here as Lennon didn’t use the West Brom player by choice.
Its safe to say that on paper, Burke had a successful spell with Celtic as he helped Lennon in a time of need as the Scottish Champions were plagued with injuries and fitness issues, the winger did however help the Hoops win the treble treble and that will go down in the history books.
He spent last season on loan at Alaves where he terrorised the Real Madrid defence in one game, but he still has the tendency to get lost and he struggles to get into the game.
Burke definitely has the ability to deal damage to the opposition and maybe working with Celtic again but under different circumstances could bring the best out of the player. (source)
Trabzonspor have also stated that they wish to sign the West Brom player and Celtic have been confirmed as an interested party also, we are unsure what position Lennon could be aiming to use him as the most common would be back-up to James Forrest, Burke can also play as a forward.
