Celtic cruised into the Scottish Cup last eight with a victory over Clyde at a very wet and windy Broadwood stadium,

Both teams started off the match very assert as the Storm Ciara brewed, Clyde were well set up and the Cumbernauld side wanted to cause another upset to the Glasgow Celtic.

But Lennon’s Bhoys were far too experienced for them as goals from Ntcham, Brown and Bayo were more than enough to send the Hoops through to the last eight of the Scottish Cup.

Celtic crush Clyde

Celtic had another couple of gears if they needed them and that should worry anyone looking to wrest the Scottish Cup from their grasp.

Hoops fans also got to see a cameo appearance from Marian Shved as Lennon allowed the winger to stretch his legs in a rare first team feature.

The Hoops manager has explained that the winger struggles with English and he was given just a brief cameo here.

Celtic supporters had high hopes for Shved after his performances in the Champions League preliminaries and while it’s not easy to break into Lennon’s team there may still be a chance.
