Celtic are being linked with a move for Bournemouth attacker Jordon Ibe on loan and if they want to sign him they will have to pay his wages in full.
The Hoops have had an okay window but we head into this final week of business still needing to add players to the squad.
Indeed, we need options at full-back as well but another attacking option might be ideal and it seems as though Ibe is one that we are looking at.
However, if we want to complete any deal with the Cherries, the Premier League side has apparently said that we will have to pay his wages 100%, and that is no small fee you’ll not be surprised to hear.
He’s on £40k a week at the South Coast club and, whichever way you dress it, that is a lot of money.
It’s something for the Bhoys to mull over but Celtic shouldn’t be paying that kind of wages for a player who struggles to get a game for his own team.
Thats the reason the Cherries want Ibe off the wages, no other bids have came in for him so it would be bad business for Celtic to offer him anywhere near those wages as he should be coming to us for redemption.
