Scott Brown has hailed the club for their current signings so far as Lennon has added players who can add some strength to the team and also players have joined who want to play for the Scottish Champions.

The Hoops captain looks forward to seeing the new bhoys in action as Celtic will face Ross County tomorrow in the league, hopefully fans will get to see Shane Duffy and David Turnbull in action and also more of Albian Ajeti.

Brown states that the team thrive on competition and the more players that Celtic have fighting for a starting role then the better we improve as a team overall.

Broonie said:

“David is a fantastic footballer, he’s young, he’s keen, and he wants to be at this club,” Brown told the media via a Zoom call at Lennoxtown. “That’s the main thing for us, and Shane is the same. He’s an international at Ireland, he’s good in the air and with the ball at his feet and he’s a strong defender.

“For us, it’s a great few signings that we’ve brought in recently and that’s definitely going to help strengthen the side.

“Competition is great throughout the whole squad. It’s great that we’re bringing in youngsters, and it’s great that we’re bringing in people that want to be at this club, who are keen to look forward and create a few chances for us as well.

“David is a great lad and it’s all about working hard and making sure everyone is at the top of their game, and the manager wants strength and depth throughout the whole squad and that’s what we’re slowly getting to.”

“I look at the team and not as individuals. We can always do better, we know that, we’ve had one bad result this season, but when you go back and analyse the games, we’ve dominated them.

“That’s what we do, but we’ve just not managed to put the ball in the back of the net as much as we’d like to. We need to make sure we’re a little bit more solid at the back and a little bit tighter in the middle of the park as well. We’re looking good, though, and I think we’re in a good place now.”
