Vakoun Bayo managed to score a debut double as the Celtic player finally got a chance to get some game time since his season long loan move to Toulouse.

Fair play to Bayo who couldn’t get Lennon to give him a chance here for obvious reasons, this is why loan deals are sometimes best for both parties.

The Ivorian dropped down the pecking order with the signing of Albian Ajeti with a season long switch agreed to the side relegated from Ligue 1 when the 2019/20 season was halted.

Bayo scored in the 30th and 45th minutes but his team-mates at the other end lost four goals before the half time.

Lennon will be hoping that the striker will learn alot from spending a season in a decent French Second Division where there are still a few good teams down there along with some fantastic players who will give Bayo some learning opportunities.

Unless the 23 year old goes on a season of fantastic form and scores a barrel load of goals, it’s still hard to see the striker making any sort of Hoops return.
