Today Celtic have been charged by UEFA due to the events before the match against AIK last week.
Celtic thrashed Swedish champions 4-1 last week in Stockholm which saw them progress through to the UEL group stages. The hoops drew Lazio, Stade Rennais and familiar side, CFR Cluj last Friday.
The goals coming from James Forrest, an own goal, Christopher Jullien and Lewis Morgan saw a 6-1 aggregate annihilation.
The charge from UEFA is due to the red flares lit by Celtic fans before the match and also “throwing objects onto the pitch”.
It hasn’t been confirmed what punishment is included in the charge however we could also see a ticket cut off our next European game which is the same that happened to Rangers.
