The Hoops are helping local groups by donating funds that have been raised through their Celtic Foundation’s Football for Good fund.

“So far we’ve distributed approximately 60-70,000 meals in the East End of Glasgow and beyond. We’re getting calls from places as far out as Falkirk, Stirling, Edinburgh, Greenock, Inverclyde and Paisley.

“Celtic FC Foundation were one of the first organisations to reach out to us. Most of our hampers cost £15 per head, so a donation of £10k helps massively. We really can’t thank Celtic FC Foundation enough for their incredible generosity.”

This just shows the community strength that Celtic have, when most clubs are bleeding money right now the Hoops are helping others in their local area.

You just have to look at certain other clubs in the league who have the begging bowl out as they live beyond their means.
