Celtic could be interested in signing West Brom winger Matt Phillips as Neil Lennon must stick to the UK transfer market.

It has been rumoured that Celtic have been in touch with the Premier League club about securing the winger’s services.

Neil Lennon has been without a traditional right winger for some time now and it clearly shows, James Forrest has been injured for most of the season and will still be out until late February.

With West Brom sitting bottom of the English Premier League, he may want to move to a new club as it looks likely that West Brom could get relegated this year.

At 29 years old, Matt Phillips could provide some experience and could even give Forrest a run for his money when he returns from the squad.

Matt Phillips has managed to play 14 games this season so far and has 1 assist to his name.
