Celtic are on the trail to sign highly rated Ismaila Soro who currently plays for Bnei Yehunda in the Israeli league as Neil Lennon expects big changes in the coming transfer windows.
According to various media sources the Scottish Champions are out on the hunt for a prized midfielder and Ismaila Soro seems to be top of Lennon’s target list.
The Celtic manager has been pondering thoughts of life after record breaking Captain Scott Brown decides its time to step back from first team commitments as a player and Ismaila might be his answer as the Ivorian excels as a strong defensive midfielder, a role that Celtic would relish in filling.
However, Bnei Yehunda Manager Yossi Abukasis has stated that Soro will not leave on the cheap and with no release clause in his contract, Celtic face a stern test of battling it out with other clubs for his signature.
With a valuation of £3 million, Celtic have the cash in the bank to pay even double that on a player that would easily make them money in a few seasons under the right guidance.
Lennon will also most likely want to trim the squad as-well, we will probably see players leave on loan and also moving on with Scott Sinclair looking the most likely to find a club.
