Celtic have shown an interest in signing Wigan Athletic winger Jamal Lowe as the winger’s hot form has clearly attracted the interest of Neil Lennon.

Lennon is eager to bolster his squad in all areas as Celtic will be playing in four competitions this season so depth and quality are key factors in our 10 in a row season.

Lowe, who made a name for himself as a non-league player, only joined Wigan from Portsmouth last summer, but he could soon be on the move after the Latics went into administration.

The 25-year-old has five goals and five assists in 44 Championship appearances this season and has the potential to take Scottish football by storm with the Hoops this season.

Lowe has clearly proven that he has focused work ethic as the winger has climbed up the ranks in English football with a move to an elite club such as Celtic could be his reward.
