Celtic are ready to kick off in Lyon as Lennon’s Bhoy’s will face Nice in their first friendly match of 2020 and Patryk Klimala will begin the match on the bench with the Hoops gaffer starting his strongest squad possible.

Patryk Klimala has worked his socks of during lockdown and in pre-season training with the Polish striker gaining more good reviews on a weekly basis, also new Bhoy Soro will warm the bench but we expect Lennon to to give most players a chance on the pitch this evening in France.

It makes total sense that the Hoops gaffer would start off with a really strong squad as Odsonne Edouard will lead the attacking front with a trio of skill behind him in the form of Forrest, Christie and Elyounoussi.

In recent seasons Celtic have tended to make 11 changes at half-time in their first pre-season matches but with just three matches so far arranged Lennon may want to give his players more playing time.

Klimala is listed as a substitute alongside Ismaila Soro with Ross Doohan and Conor Hazard the back-up goalkeepers to Scott Bain.

The Squad

Celtic: Bain: Frimpong, Jullien, Ajer, Taylor; Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Christie, Elyounoussi; Edouard

SUBS: Doohan, Hazard, Bitton, Klimala, Soro, Ntcham, Bolingoli, Connell, Robertson, Elhamed, McInroy, Henderson, Karamoko, Welsh
