The news that Ryan Christie will have to isolate has forced Celtic to officially respond to the supporters after growing pressure.

It was confirmed yesterday that another of Celtic’s key players will likely miss our crucial match against Rangers as Ryan Christie has been ordered to isolate for 14 days.

It has emerged that Stuart Armstrong has tested positive for the virus and Ryan Christie was reportedly part of the same bubble as the Southampton star while they are on duty for the Scotland national team.

This is a growing concern for the Scottish Champions as they will now be without Christie, Forrest and Edouard as the Frenchman has tested positive also.

The Celtic support are raging at the fact clubs are allowing their players to risk their health to leave for international duty, the club have released a statement online.

Although it is possible that Neil Lennon could have players to step in, it’s still a huge blow to the squad as this would make it three key players out.

The club have stated that they do not have power over FIFA when it comes to players going on international duty.
