Boli Bolingoli could be set for a shock exit from Celtic this summer as Lennon looks to sell his £3 million defender and the club want what they paid for him last year.

The Belgian signed from Rapid Vienna last year and couldn’t quite adapt to life and the high pressure of life at Celtic, Bolingoli found it hard to deal with the physicality of the Scottish game and at times Lennon just couldn’t trust him in important matches.

Celtic are willing to move Bolingoli on and sell the defender but only if they can secure a bid that matches what they paid for him.

Bolingoli made around 24 appearances in the Hoops and in someways played decent, but after Rangers defeated Lennon’s Bhoys last December, Boli never made the team sheet again.

Are Celtic Right To Sell

Neil Lennon is a very good judge of talent and if Bolingoli isn’t going to be trusted to play next season, he might aswell find another club and Celtic will get at the very least their money back.

Maybe Lennon isn’t taking any chances on ten in a row, maybe Lennon has learned from past experiences like Efe Ambrose, one thing is for sure and that is next season Lennon has the chance to be up there with the great Jock Stein and become legendary, after all, the gaffer started ten in a row with Celtic and he will finish it.
