Celtic have spoken to brokers about possibly acquiring Croatian winger Kristijan Lovric, according to journalist/scout Richard Wilson.
The 25-year-old is a left-winger, a position in which Celtic is in desperate need of reinforcements.
Lovric is a dynamic winger who now plays for HNK Gorica. In just 96 games for the club, he has 44 goals and 23 assists.
As a result, since Gorica signed him in 2018, his transfer value has skyrocketed.
The player’s current transfer worth is £5.4 million, according to Transfermarkt.
Celtic may sign Lovric for £5 million, according to Richard Wilson.
Celtic returned Moi Elyounoussi to his parent club and Mikey Johnston were hurt in a match against Bristol City. We need a replacement left winger as quickly as possible, given Mikey’s injury history.
Lovric checks a lot of boxes and would be a great addition for the team if they can pull it done.
They already have Liel Abada on the right, who can bring pace and intensity, and if they add Lovric, we’ll have a goal-scoring winger on either side.
