Celtic will be looking to add some more depth in the coming transfer window and Martin Boyle could be ready to make the move to the Scottish Champions.

With Celtic already spending a few quid in the last transfer window on stars such as Barkas, Ajeti and Turnbull, not to mention the wages and £2 million loan fee of Shane Duffy, this window will be about bargains that can get the job done domestically.

Just like Turnbull, many decent players ply their trade in the Scottish Premier League who could become laboured squad members under Neil Lennon this season.

Celtic have already had a negative experience with regards to players having to isolate due to the pandemic, there will be more issues going forward until such times as a vaccine is distributed.

This transfer window should be about bringing in squad players to allow Neil Lennon to rotate the squad when things get tough.

One player, who has proven he can do a job against Celtic and Rangers is Martin Boyle of Hibernian.

The Australian winger could provide good coverage on that right-wing as James Forrest has been out injured and looks likely to be out for a little longer.

The one ability Boyle has is, he can put in a good cross into the opposition’s box, something we have been lacking severely this year.

Lennon Does Rate Him

The Hoops manager has said previously that he admires Martin Boyle’s ability and there were strong rumours of bids around January last season, but nothing ever came to fruition.

We aren’t saying that Boyle will be a star signing, but rather a good squad signing as we badly need bodies through the door.

A few more injuries and isolation issues could render Celtic’s season virtually over unless there are players brought in, yes we still have Soro, Turnbull and even Dembele but a few more bargains could be required.
