Celtic outcast Jack Hendry has admitted that he remains unsure if he will make a Celtic return next season after his perfect term on loan in Belgium.

His loan spell at KV Oostende has been branded a complete success that has even landed the 26 year old a return to the Scotland international set-up.

The Belgian side could be willing to purchase the Celtic defender for a decent £1.75 million as he has become one of their key players during a year spell.

However, Hendry has stated he himself doesn’t know what will happen and has stated that whatever will be, will be:

“I don’t know where I’ll be next season – what will be, will be.

“Obviously, I’m concentrating on being with Scotland and letting those things happen with my representatives and the clubs.

“I’ve been in the situation before where I’ve been linked with clubs, so I’m not concentrating on that at all.”

The Hoops defender played an influential part in the Belgian side finishing 5th in their league and also just missed out on European qualification.

Jack Hendry also commented on his excitement of travelling with Scotland to the Euros and admits he can’t wait to get going.

“I’m feeling really fresh and raring to go.

“I am in a really good place. This is a chance for me to make a statement.

Many Celtic fans feel that Hendry isn’t good enough to play for the Hoops and maybe this could be his time to shine, after all he clearly has had a great season and could be vital to Scotland in the group stages.
