Celtic outcast Jack Hendry is reportedly very close to completing a new loan move to Belgian club Oostende after the defender posted a clip online of the beautiful city.

The defender’s move to Melbourne City earlier this year was cut short by a knee injury but after rehabilitation at Lennoxtown he is close to a move to the Belgian Pro League.

The Scottish international flew out to Belgium today for his medical and is expected to complete his move tomorrow afternoon.

Hendry was signed by former Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers for around £1.5 million and just couldn’t keep his spot in the Hoop’s first-team as there was too many good players that provided a better service.

There was rumours that the Scottish defender could be brought back into the fold by Neil Lennon for his 10 in a row push, but the gaffer decided on involving youth product Stephen Welsh instead and ending any hope of a Hendry resurgence.

The defender is hoping his exposure in the Jupiler Pro-League will get his promising career back on the rise. (source)
