Kristoffer Ajer has made it known through his agent that he want’s to play in one of the big leagues, Celtic know that and as Lennon’s Hoops side crashed out the Champions League, we could all imagine that certain players would be talking to their agents about potential moves.

There are many things that we of course don’t know in regards to what’s being said between the club and agents, we do however know that both Ajer and Ntcham had their agents ask the Celtic board about an acceptable value on their players.

With Celtic already having rejected two approaches from Italian giants AC Milan it does prove that there are clubs currently watching the Norwegian and with no Champions League football, Ajer has been rumoured to want a move away from the Hoops.

The Celtic bosses predict that his agent will try and reach out to interested clubs and broker a deal as the Scottish Champions will need offers of around £20 million for a deal to be agreed.

Whatever the fee would be, Ajer hasn’t exactly proved to be a reliable defender at the highest level and with the arrival of Shane Duffy to Celtic it could prove big competition for Ajer and Jullien depending what formation Lennon will end up playing.

If Ajer does leave Celtic then it would give Lennon some added money in the pot to find a replacement.
