Celtic have been tracking goal machine Kasper Junker as a potential replacement for Odsonne Edouard.

The 26-year-old Norwegian striker has been on the form of his life for his club FK Bodø/Glimt and has managed to send them top of the league with a staggering 28 goals in 26 appearances.

This had led to many admirers that will seek to secure his signature in the January transfer window, Celtic remain one of them.

Our sources have claimed that Celtic could be willing to pay a significant fee for Kasper Junker in the next transfer window as they know that the money would be coming back to them with the impending sale of Odsonne Edouard next summer.

This would make sense on so many levels as it would allow Junker to adapt to life in Scotland without needing to hit the ground running as the club would still have plenty of firepower to continue the season.

We will keep you updated with this story as it breaks.
