Tottenham are ready to complete the signing of Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid and this could give Neil Lennon food for thought as Ryan Sessegnon could be ready to move out on loan from Spurs.

Ryan Sessegnon has been a name that was mentioned quite a few times as a possible loan move for Neil Lennon as the player can play on the entire left hand inside including wing-back.

Back in August, Celtic were linked with a loan move for the £25 million valued player as Jose Mourinho would allow the player to ship out on loan.

With Greg Taylor now the only natural player that can play in that Wing-back/left-back role it should be Lennon’s top priority to find more players to bring in as Bolingoli has left also as the rule breaker sealed a move to Turkey.

The former Fulham player does have a vast amount of experience that could prove vital to Celtic this season and a loan deal would be only option as Sessegnon would appear to be far from our normal signing reach.

With around 120 appearances with Fulham before joining Spurs and also an impressive 25 goals and 18 assists to his name, Lennon could pull of another world class signing this season as Celtic look to get 10 in a row in the bag.

Barry Douglas, Alfie Doughty and Mitchel Bakker are all names that have been touted as Celtic targets but who’s to say that only one will be signed as Lennon could be aiming to sign two players that can play in all areas of that left side, this would add some serious depth to the squad that could be the key in navigating through this tough season.
