Celtic have targeted Legia Warsaw full-back Michal Karbownik as a potential summer signing but face competition from the likes of Barcelona and Spurs.
Neil Lennon looks very interested in adding to his player pool and Karbownik would be welcomed as the defender has all the qualities that Celtic look for in a player.
However, other clubs are keeping tabs on the Legia player, teams such as Barcelona are sniffing around, this does not mean they are likely to place a bid on the player. (source)
The Hoops have a great track record at buying the worlds best young players and might be able to clinch a deal as Karbownik would find it easier to earn a first team place in Glasgow than Spain or England.
With all that’s happening, football clubs will not have the same level of money to spend and also we still don’t understand how the market will function.
