Celtic could be making some big bucks in this January transfer window as former French goalscorer Moussa Dembele is set to complete a move to Chelsea worth £85 million.

According to a national newspaper, Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Dembele and the move is all set to be completed, Celtic were smart enough to slap a 10% sell on clause when the Frenchman made his move to Lyon, that could see the Scottish Champions net a tidy some of around £10 million.

That money could be vital to Celtic and the board might even be persuaded to make moves for Fraser Forster on a permanent deal, as the shot stopper has been phenomenal this season but Southampton have already said they want to cash in.

THE DOWNSIDE

If Lyon do decide to sell Dembele it will spark some unease to Celtic fans as the French giants have said numerous times that they admire Edouard and would see him as a possible replacement to Dembele.

Edouard

This would be a huge mistake for the Hoops as we have a league to win and losing our key striker, even for £30 million, would be catastrophic and there’s no guarantee that any new striker Celtic will purchase will hit the ground running, the Hoops must stay strong in this matter.
