Celtic have been linked with Dejan Ljubicic who can play both defender and midfielder roles as Lennon looks to raid Rapid Vienna for a second time in two seasons after the Hoops manager brought in pacey left-back Bolingoli last season.
The Austrian player market has proven to produce some class players and a market that Celtic can dive into financially, this saw Lennon use this to his advantage last season and purchased Bolingoli at a decent £3 million fee.
The defender lost his way abit last season and Taylor seems to have cemented the wing-back position as his own but we expect Lennon to utilise Boli’s pace abit more next season.
Ljubicic played around 21 games in the Austrian Bundesliga last season and mainly plays in the defensive midfield position, this is something that Celtic have been searching for the past few seasons as our leader Scott Brown won’t be here forever and Lennon must find a player to replace his physical presence.
At just 22 years old, Ljubicic would make a fantastic signing and a great investment for the club and would easily adapt to the physicality of the Scottish league.
The media reports:

Promotion-chasing Brentford are renowned for finding bargains, bringing in the likes of Said Benrahma and Bryan Mbeumo in the past, and will evaluate Ljubicic over the coming weeks.
Southampton, Celtic and Rangers have also discussed the 6ft 2ins Austrian who is being touted for a call-up to the senior national side but there is also interest from clubs in Germany and Russia.
