Celtic new bhoy David Turnbull has confessed that he’s ready to take on Rangers this weekend and extend his current run of good form.

Neil Lennon and the Bhoys are flying high at the minute as they defeated Dundee United 3-0 today and most importantly earned a fourth clean sheet in a row in the league with 6 wins total.

With the much-needed introduction of both Turnbull and Soro into the squad this year, Turnbull admits that they are all full of confidence for their match against Rangers on Saturday.

David Turnbull spoke to Celtic TV:

“It’s a big game on Saturday. We just need to take our form of the past few games. We’ve made a good run and we just need to continue that.

“Obviously joining Celtic – massive club – there’s obviously massive games that come with that. You look forward to playing in them. As you say, (looking to) make my mark in it. Hopefully I can do that at the weekend.

“All the boys will do that as a team and get the result hopefully.”

This is fantastic from Turnbull and it just shows that a few good wins under their belt can really bring a group of players together to start some much-needed momentum.

After Celtic drew 1-1 with St Johnstone we all thought the league was over, now its definitely back on and all Neil Lennon needs to do now to get some belief back into the fans is to grind out a mandatory win against Rangers.
