Neil Lennon has stated in the media recently that Celtic are not looking to sell anyone in the next transfer window but there will be one major loss when the 1st of January comes around.
Celtic defender Hatem Elhamed has revealed that he will be seeking to leave the Scottish Champions in the new year as the Israel international has become severely homesick.
With Elhamed’s wife being denied a visa to stay in Scotland and Brexit would make that a more difficult task, we can’t blame the player for wanting to go back home to his wife and son.
Although the utility player hasn’t been a key member of the squad, he still plays a role in squad rotation and Neil Lennon must look to the British market to secure a replacement.
It has come to our attention that his former club Hapoel Be’er Sheva will be looking to secure Elhamed in a loan to buy deal similar to that of Bolingoli.
We wish the big defender all the best in his future career and he will leave the club with a few medals to show his grandchildren one day.
