Celtic’s Ryan Christie has undeniably been one of the Hoops’ best players this season. However, he made a rare error when he was sent-off for a poor challenge in the recent 2-0 loss to Livingston.
The defeat led to some undeserved criticism from Christie from sections of the Celtic support, and as a result of that he deleted his Twitter account.
Now Christie’s dad, Charlie Christie, who was a Celtic player, has had his say on the criticism that his son has faced.
“I said to Ryan, ‘It’s not all plaudits, you have a lot since July, now it’s a minor setback’” he said, whilst appearing on BBC Sportsound.
