Jonathan Afolabi has joined Dunfermline on loan until the end of the season, as the Celtic new bhoy needs some first team football to develop more as a player.

The striker joined Celtic in the summer after being released by Southampton and now has the opportunity to get some regular first team action as Celtic manager Neil Lennon will want the young striker to gain some valuable experience playing in the Scottish Championship.

Afolabi has had some great form playing in the Celtic reserves until some injuries gave him a set back, now Afolabi will get a chance to show the Celtic manager he’s got what it takes to score goals and return to the Hoops with a few goals in the bag.

Dunfermline are currently in fifth place in The Championship with the Celtic striker hoping he can help them achieve promotion through the play-off system.
