Celtic bounce back from a shock defeat on Wednesday to beat Motherwell 3-0 at Parkhead, fans were worried after Lennon pretty much named the same losing squad today but his tactics seemed to work in today’s game.

Lennon took alot of flack before today’s game when his squad choice was released to the fans, no shock to us all there was no starting striker named and Christie was the man again playing out of position.

The return of an inform James Forrest was a pleasant surprise as the winger netted the first goal of the match.

Celtic’s new keeper also had a few key stops to make also as Barkas gets to grips with Scottish football, Neil Lennon made a change at half time as he swapped Mohamed Elyounoussi for Klimala and from then on the Scottish Champions looked like a team again.

The Polish striker had his chances to get on the scoresheet but failed to do so, Klimala also played an important part in the turning of the game as having a natural striker on the pitch just improves the squad overall.

The next change was with Greg Taylor who was having a frustrating game and Lennon decided to take him off and bring on Frimpong who Celtic fans were begging to make an appearance.

At last it was Ajeti who came on from Ntcham and scored Celtic’s second goal which boosted the full squad as our French defender Jullien managed to bag the third for the day.

This was an important game for Lennon and Celtic as the gaffer needed to improve from last weeks defeat in Europe, he might have just proved that both strikers really were unfit to play.

If lennon has learned one thing from today’s win its that he must get both Klimala and Ajeti fit in a short space of time as an Edouard and Ajeti partnership could be frightening this season once other key signings are made.
