Celtic have an interest in signing Reading winger Michael Olise, in line with a report from The Scottish Daily Mail.

The player is highly thought of by Celtic’s Head of Football Operations Nicky Hammond and now he has identified the 18-year-old as a potential transfer target this summer.

Olise has made 14 appearances for the Championship side thus far this season and can be hoping to play more games if the season resumes within the second-tier of English football, as is currently the plan.

Whilst he’s yet to find the net at senior level, the teenager has four goals and the same amount of assists within the Championship this year, showing he has the potential to be a key player.

Should Celtic Make A Move

Celtic have a strategy as a club that looks to buy young players with high potential and if Olise can prove it in Glasgow, then maybe it would be a good future signing.

We just have to look at players like Frimpong who was a future signing and instantly earned his shot at the first team.
