Celtic Top Favourites To Lure £3 Million Star To Parkhead
The Scottish Champions are eager to start discussions with highly-rated English Championship winger Bright Osayi-Samuel as they believe that he could ease the loss of James Forrest.
The Hoops were aiming to sign Bright Osayi-Samuel during the last transfer window but negotiations failed as both clubs couldn’t agree on a fee as the QPR player would enter the final 6 months of his current deal in January.
However, it seems Celtic are favourites on signing the winger on a pre-contract when January comes and the Hoops will then make a much lower offer than the quoted £3 million to bring the 22-year-old to Glasgow in the same window.
With James Forrest not returning to the fold until late February, Celtic must try and secure a winger for that right flank as we have badly missed a natural winger.
Osayi-Samuel, 22, has made 16 championship appearances so far this season, scoring two with three assists to his name and could be a real breath of fresh air in that area of the squad.
