Celtic want to keep the youngster but would face serious competition to land him on a permanent contract.
And the Daily Mail report Palace ’s Scottish director of football Dougie Freedman is a big admirer of the Scotland star who is on international duty in Kazakhstan.
Burke cost West Brom £14million from RB Leipzig last summer but has yet to break through at the Hawthorns.
He was sent north in the January transfer window to Celtic where he has netted five times in 14 appearances.
Burke has a contract for another three years at West Brom but reportedly does not have a future there and the club are willing to listen to offers.
